For Report Date 6/2/2011 Comments Support SB 45 subject to adoption of Substitute Amendment 1, which focuses school nurse qualifications on the RN plus training and not the degree earned to be an RN. Against Report Date 4/6/2011 Comments This bill may have an error. Act 160 did not set specific standards for school nurses. Act 160 required DPI to do so by rule. The exec budget, AB40/SB27, also addresses this issue and this bill may conflict with/preempt that proposal.
