For Report Date 5/31/2017 Comments Woodchucks are plentiful in Wisconsin but often cause damage to structures by their burrowing. Making the animal a game species will allow an impacted landowner to have a hunter or trapper harvest the nuisance animal. Woodchucks are very edible.
