Comments
It is not sensible to keep people locked up simply because their original conviction was one of these felonies. Older people pose fewer disciplinary problems during their incarceration and reoffend at lower rates upon release.

Comments
This bill reduces prosecutorial discretion and goes against criminal justice reform. An offender who does what is ordered should be able to transition onto supervision as that is the goal of rehabilitation. WDAA will assist the authors if asked.
