Comments
The Wisconsin District Attorneys' Association, Inc. has significant concerns with the mechanics of this bill, the effect on independent use of prosecutorial discretion, and the ethical responsibility to amend/dismiss if the evidence is not present.

Comments
This bill would hurt those who use their firearms in self-defense and disallow the prosecutor to drop "illegal possession of a firearm" in the case of self-defense. This violates Section 25 of the WI Constitution and the Second Amendment.
