Legislative Efforts

Budget Bill Subject

When the budget bill is introduced in the legislature, the Legislative Fiscal Bureau assigns subject areas to the bill on which the lobbying principals report interests. Lobbying principals do not report an interest in the budget bill itself.

We support closure of 2 juvenile detention facilities, replaced by secure residential care facilities in various counties, but this needs a specific deadline. We support returning 17-yr-olds to juvenile system but think there should be separate bill.
