Unite 2 Fight Paralysis

Registered Principal Details

Business Or Interest:
We represent individuals across the country living with spinal cord injury and their family members. We use our voice to advocate for the funding and guiding of research into new and innovative treatments for the functional improvement of people with spinal cord injuries. Our primary constituents are these same individuals from the spinal cord injury community, and our financial support is primarily derived from individual donations, our annual races in Chicago and Minneapolis, and corporate and institutional sponsorship of our annual scientific meeting.

Lobbying Interests:
We focus our advocacy efforts on the Department of Higher Education and or the Department of Health Services to align the Wisconsin biomedical research ecosystem with the needs of the Wisconsin spinal cord injury community, specifically the WI Spinal Cord Injury Research Grants and Symposia Bill (2024 AB19/SB27) and the program in the governor's budget
