The Christian Science Committee on Publication may attempt to influence legislation pertaining to child abuse and neglect, elder abuse and neglect, parental rights, public school instruction (specifically, the areas of curriculum dealing with medical teaching), mandatory immunizations or vaccinations, insurance, and any other areas where freedom of religious practice may be involved. Where such legislation is enacted, we would also work to see that administrative rules governing these areas do not compromise religious freedom or practice.
