Wisconsin Creditor's Rights Association

Registered Principal Details

Business Or Interest:
The Wisconsin Creditors’ Rights Association (WCRA) is a non-profit corporation whose membership is open to any individual or entity that employs a Wisconsin attorney primarily engaged in the practice of representing creditors. To be eligible for membership, a proposed member must not represent consumers in claims against credit grantors or other related entities.

Lobbying Interests:
The WCRA’s primary purposes is to help create and maintain a fair legislative climate to protect the rights of creditors and attorneys representing creditors. In order for the free market system to flourish, creditors must be able to loan money to consumers with the expectation that there is a mechanism to ensure that the money be repaid. If it is not re-paid, those creditors must have access to a fair collection process both outside and within the state court system. The WCRA is committed to maintaining that ability not only for the creditors its members represent, but for all creditors in the state of Wisconsin.
