Members fear that if passed as is the bill will allow foreclosed properties to sit vacant for long periods of time, creating serious property value issues for adjoining properties. Vandalism and criminal activities increase. We favor a compromise.

Lead Poisoning is a very serious health matter. Remediation is also very serious. Legislation in this area must be carefully reviewed. WRHLC will continue consulting with landlords across the state. As amended the bill is more understandable.
