The association is comprised of taxicab and shared-ride taxi businesses, organizations and individual proprietors who are under municipal license or contract. Services are provided to municipalities under specified rules and vendor obligations. Coordination with the State Wisconsin WDOT exists in providing regulated services in over 40 rural communities around the state. Issues or safety, insurance, customer service, ADA compliance, taxation, and transportation coordination are very important to the mission of the organization.
