The Alliance will be dedicated to reviewing and advancing conclusions of the recently published state audit of the highway program. The Alliance will advocate for transportation spending balance and multi modal equity in current legislative session.

The Alliance will monitor or comment on all areas of legislative or administrative activity which involve state transportation spending, planning, and project enumeration. The Alliance will participate in the development of the state budget with a particular emphasis on transportation issues.

We are reviewing the costs of additional general revenue bonding and additional WDOT backed bonding. We will be speaking with some agencies and appropriate legislative staff seeking information on how those costs will be covered in future budgets.
