Wisconsin Health Freedom Coalition

Registered Principal Details

Business Or Interest:
Currently, alternative health care practitioners are at risk of prosecution for the unlicensed practice of medicine. Wisconsin Health Freedom Coalition seeks to protect not only the interests of the alternative health care practitioners, but also the interest of every citizen in Wisconsin in their right to choose such services. Other potential groups with common interests include: health food stores, vitamin and nutritional supplement manufacturers and retailers, unlicensed health care providers, and Wisconsin citizens seeking natural, non-toxic methods for health care.

Lobbying Interests:
Wisconsin Health Freedom Coalition (WHFC) seeks to protect natural health care providers from prosecution for providing advice and services that do no harm so they will not be charged with practicing medicine without a license. Additionally, WHFC will work to protect Wisconsin health seekers’ right to access natural nutritional healing protocols and maintain public access to unlicensed natural health providers. Finally, WHFC strives to protect traditional and cultural therapies and remedies practiced historically by persons who are not licensed or regulated by the state.

In support because bill restricts complementary health providers with boundaries not made explicit before, while still allowing the public to access their services if restrictions are adhered to. Ensures consumer choice and protection.
