DOT rules (Trans 260/261) limit the length of a manufactured home in transit to 100 ft. Homes are heavier now (>35,000 lbs) & to make movement safer the limit needs to be 110 ft to allow for a larger towing vehicle & leave home limit length at 80 ft.
