Non emergency medical transportation is provided throughout the state by private providers. DHS establishes the rules on operations, vehicle inspections, background checks, drug testing and pricing. Clarity is needed to resolve conflicts/questions.

Our private transportation provider network favors clarifications added to the bill making sure “taxi” changes are clearly delineated. We will adjust our registration as intent and effect are more clear.
